About Me

I had earned the Master’s degree in Business Administration from Hailey College of Banking & Finance, University of the Punjab, Lahore in the year 2013. I had got distinction in my research work which was a pre-requisite for degree completion. On the basis of my strong research skills and perfect hands on econometrics software packages, a distinguished professor of the above-mentioned college engaged me as Research Associate in her personal capacity as an honorary job for the completion of her Doctorate Level thesis. During that assignment, I got practical exposure about understanding of advance financial analysis of banking sector’s annual audited financial reports in dissertation work focusing on impact of mergers and acquisitions on financial performance of five big commercial banks in Pakistan as well as on their operational capacity enhancement estimation aligned with CAMEL ratio analysis and Data Envelop Analysis since 2002-2012.

I had honed my critical writing skills by completion of dissertation work titled as “Role of supervisors in educational environment for the cause of capacity building in their employees by induction of lucrative fringe benefits,” and finally drafting a case study methodology from empirical study in the year 2013.

I had engaged myself as a research facilitator for the completion of Course Work Proposal of the subject titled as “Leading Innovation & Change” at Master’s level and I selected Daily Jung as my case study in this descriptive research by introduction of QR codes in the Marketing mix matrix. The concept of QR (Quick Response) code had gained global fame due to its unique presentation besides the usage of android mobiles for its demonstration. This tremendous invention has facilitated the data migration and encryption through safe and visible measures.  Daily Jang has adopted this technique and emerged as pioneer in electronic and print media solution besides snatching the major lion’s share in competitive market.

Later on, due to my strongest inclination and my urge to join research-based organization, I was successfully qualified the selection criteria for the position of Research Associate/Analyst (BS-17) in Directorate General Monitoring & Evaluation, Planning & Development Board, Lahore under the project titled “ Capacity Building of Directorate General (M&E) for improved Project Planning, Monitoring & Evaluation of Development Project in the year 2017. The primary aim and objective of the operation of DGM&E is Planning, monitoring and evaluation of Public Annual Development Program (ADP) for better performance, transparency and governance along with improved service delivery and public benefits. This will ensure timely, within specification and within budget completion of development projects undertaken by the province.

Being Engagement as Research Associate I gained expertise in the following dimensions:

Ø  Preparation of Report, field visit for monitoring & evaluation of the ADP Schemes

Ø  Coordination/communication (telephone/official letters) with concerned department.

Ø  Data Analysis and preparation of Draft Report.

Ø  Updating the report according to the received feedback.

Ø  Preparation of Presentation for Pre-ECM/Reviewer Team.

Ø  Preparation of final report as per feedback of the reviewer team after Pre-ECM.

Ø  Follow up with the concerned Departments if needed regarding the decisions in the ECM.

Ø  Any other duty assigned by top management.

 

I had successfully conducted field visits, designing of Beneficiary surveys, insertion of Data in SPSS, Data Analysis, Data Interpretation, Report Writing as well as a master skill in drafting  Minutes of the meeting for discussion of these ADP schemes as initiated by Planning & Development Board. Before the report writing stage, the pre-requisite stage is seeking for relevant documents i.e. PC-I and PC-IV for Monitoring as well as Evaluation of the Schemes. This provision is dependent upon the successful liaison between the office and the Administrative Department. After perusal of the documents, some additional detail i.e Administrative Approval, Procurement details, SNE Details are also required for incorporation of facts and evidence based monitoring and evaluation segment in the report.
