About Me

I am from Karachi, Pakistan. I have completed my Ph.D. degree in European Studies from Area Study Centre for Europe, University of Karachi. I got 3.5 CGPA in Ph.D. My research topic is “COLONIALISM TO NEO- COLONIALISM; FRENCH POLICES IN ITS FORMER WEST AFRICAN COLONIES: A CASE STUDY OF MALI”.

Recently, I have been worked as a Research Associate at non-profit, non-governmental think tank, Centre for Peace, Security and Developmental Studies. My job responsibilities were to do literature review and data analysis for projects, along with overseeing the designing of infographics with the I.T. team. I used to write blogs, policy reports, concept notes and also handle the organization’s social media accounts during seminars and roundtable events. I have done Masters in International Relations from the University of Karachi and having prior experience with leading newspaper “DAWN”. I used to moderate comments on news, editorials, and blogs, also formulate newsletters and make photo-shares for Dawn social media pages. I am associated with The Citizens Foundation (TCF), a non-profit organization that provides education for those who cannot afford it.

Having degrees in European Studies (Ph.D.) and International Relations (Masters), I used to work on clarity in speech and writing, analytical skills and research. After studying diplomacy and foreign policy courses for two years in my Master’s program, I developed my interest in state to state relationship. I have also great interest in political changes taking place in Europe as well as all over the world. My study also supports me to understand the complex world around us and consider international issues and events from a wide variety of perspectives. I am passionate about Foreign Service and want to work and experience cultures, customs and people of different nations.

I have excellent interpersonal skills. I am good at writing and speaking English and Urdu, proficient at using MS Office and internet browsing. I know that the combination of my education, motivation and experience will be beneficial to your department.
