About Me

Over 16 years’ experience in community development, with a multi-sector focus, communication strengthening between community and government, disaster risk reduction, conflict resolution, polio campaigning, Capacity Building of Line Dept and Civil Society, Religious leaders mobilization and promotion of gender mainstreaming through customized approaches in highly conservative communities, women right issues-GBV. Working with Government and community to promote trust between the two stakeholders to build their capacity in the most affected area of six Districts of Malakand Division on Community-Driven Local Development (CDLD) the government policy implementation with a customized approach.
Knowledge of sustainable development, addressing critical issues i.e. gender mainstreaming, women rights, involving religious leaders in development initiatives, working through innovative and customized approaches with extremely conservative communities and diverse stakeholders. Working with the community-driven local development program of the government of KPK initiative on an equity basis. Also the capability of developing success stories, case studies as well as computer programing. Working with media for highlighting the core issues of rural areas being connected with Pakistan’s reputed anchorpersons on public and private TV channels. Working on the cross-cutting theme gender and social accountability to make the government accountable and empowered the community on an equal basis.

Team Supervisor

Main Responsibilities • Participates in need assessments, Participatory Rural Appraisals, feasibility studies, stakeholder analyses and community consultations; • Supports the development of agreements and MoUs with community-based organizations or other civil society groups. • Elaborate all needs-based inputs and all other activities according to the objectives of the program and the beneficiary involvement strategy of ACTED. • Mobilizes the community in the effective use of community resources. • Mobilize communities for the prioritizing of recovery activities and strategies. • Facilitates the capacity building and setup of representative community committees • Identifies unskilled and skilled Cash For Work beneficiaries in close cooperation with the steering committee. • Maximize beneficiary contribution. • Participate in distributions whenever required. • The Community mobilizers should develop in-depth knowledge of all their villages of intervention and should have close contacts with community leaders, volunteers, and activists.
